TYRONE Williams has become the lastest player to sign a new deal at Kidderminster Harriers.

The versatile midfielder and central defender is the latest player to pen a new deal with the club after he signed a fresh contract at Aggborough on Monday.

He follows on from Kennedy Digie, Ousmane Fane and Elton Ngwatala.

The first graduate of the Harriers Academy, Williams was handed his first professional deal in the summer of 2013 following impressive performances in the junior ranks.

He’s remained with the club since but has spent key spells out on loan with the likes of Sutton Coldfield and Stourbridge – before his most fruitful spell at Hednesford Town this campaign.

Twenty-five starts for the Pitmen in the first half of this campaign saw Ty return to the first-team camp looking stronger than ever, leading to a debut in the red and white at Aldershot in January.

Williams, now 21, has started each of the team’s last three games and put in assured performances in the middle of the park, efforts that have contributed to his new deal that ties him at the club until the end of the 2016/17 season.

Colin Gordon commented today: “We’re very pleased… Ty has coped really well and is a fantastic part of the group.

“He’s just a joy to have around.”
