GYMNASTICS: Five members of the Wyre Forest Gymnastics School tested their skills when they took part in the West Midland Regional Teams Championships in Birmingham.
Hannah Wilson, Kathryn Deeley, Annabelle Scott, Lydia Harrington and Jessica Atkinson competed in the FIG team competition, scoring 103.05 points collectively and missed out on third place by just four points.
For many of the girls this was the first time they had competed in an important competition and the coaches were pleased with their performances.
The girls train between 10 and 15 hours a week at Baxter College, where classes are held for all ages and abilities. Anyone interested in joining the school can contact 01299 403318 or 07801 338292.
