STOURPORT Hockey Club men's firsts thrashed Bedford 7-3 in the National League Conference Midlands.
Simon Claris got second-placed Stourport rolling with two goals in the first 10 minutes.
Schubert added a third before Claris sealed his hat-trick before half-time.
Claris and Leo Delves extended the lead and, although Bedford pulled back three goals, the former's fifth completed the scoring.
Stourport visit third-placed Norwich City on Saturday.
The thirds drew 3-3 with Beacon.
Stourport fourths drew 5-5 after a comeback by Worcester fourths in Midlands Seven South West with Tim Wood (2) and Tom White among the scorers.
The fifths hammered Bridgnorth fifths 8-1 in Midlands Nine South West with John Kane (2), Steve Jones (2), David Henderson (2) and Mark Darch on target.
The women's seconds beat Leek firsts 6-0 in Midlands One through Lou Butcher (3), Kerry Walker, Amy Miller and Erin Preace.
Stourport thirds defeated Barford Tigers 2-1 in Midlands Three South West.
