STOURPORT Swifts boss Neil Hunt is not committing his future to the club yet.

Hunt and assistant Paul Scott will meet chairman Chris Reynolds next week to discuss ways to move the club forward.

Hunt admitted he was ‘disappointed’ with Swifts’ finishing position of 16th in the BGB Midland Division and felt they should have finished higher with the players they have.

He said: “We want to build on this season and certainly do better next time, where I will be looking for a play-off push because the team is more than capable of that.

“There are certain things on and off the field we will be talking about with Chris and hopefully we can go forward from there.”

Swifts went down 3-1 at Rothwell Town in their final league game, Beng’yela Ngwa getting their consolation goal.

They face a Worcester Infirmary Cup semi final at home to Malvern Town tomorrow (7.45pm), a game Hunt said they could ‘do without’.

He said: “It is a bit of an inconvenience to be honest, the season is ended now and then we have to play this game with the final supposedly at the start of next season, but we will get on with it.
