TWO junior clubs from Wyre Forest have been boosted by a kit and equipment donation from a local restaurant chain.
Kidderminster Harriers Juniors and Mostyn Falcons have been given a helping hand by their local McDonald’s restaurants, which has provided the grassroots teams with new kit and equipment.
The youngsters will benefit from brand new kit and coaching equipment which will help the players during training sessions and improve their skills on the pitch.
Robin Brown, McDonald’s Franchisee for Kidderminster, has stepped in to support the clubs, twinning two local McDonald’s restaurants as part of the chain’s community football programme, which aims to help more people get involved in the game either as players, supporters or coaches.
He said: “I’m proud to support community grassroots football clubs who do a fantastic job in keeping the local youngsters active.”
