RED hot Harriers hitman Chris McPhee has vowed to keep searching for goals after his fifth in as many league games ensured Harriers edged out Histon 1-0.

McPhee's fine 34th minute strike was the difference as he made it eight goals in a promising season.

However, he was quick to praise his team mates for their hard work as Harriers made it six Blue Square Bet Premier games unbeaten and two successive clean sheets.

He said: "It's just one of those runs where the ball is ending up in the net for me but I will take it as long as it comes.

"The boys are working hard and I'm glad they are reaping the rewards.

"Five goals in five games is as good as it has got for me but long may it continue.

"I am going to continue to try and get on the end of things and be confident.

"As long as somebody is scoring and we're winning that's the main thing.

"The game wasn't the prettiest, it wasn't one for the cameras really, but the results is the most important thing.

"A goal like that should be good enough to win any game and I'm absolutely delighted with it."

The hitman will be aiming to maintain his fine scoring form when hometown club Eastbourne Borough pay a visit to Aggborough in the league on Saturday (3pm kick-off).
