DEFENDER Mark Albrighton is hoping he's put his suspension worries behind him after starting Harriers' 2-1 loss at Barrow on Saturday.

The experienced defender was back in the starting line-up after serving a two-match banafter his sending off at Tamworth.

It was the second time the 34-year-old had been sent off against Harriers' Midlands rivals.

Albrighton said: "The first suspension I had against Tamworth was harsh and then last Monday when I was sent off against them for a second time I thought it was harsh again because the chap slipped.

"It's just unfortunate, I don't know if the referees didn't like me I'm not sure.

"I just need to work hard and hopefully stay in the side."

Against Barrow, Harriers were shot down by on-loan Blackpool hitman Louis Almond's brace.

The match was a difficult one for Harriers' defenders as they coped with strong winds and driving rain.

It was Harriers' first loss of 2011 and their first on the road in the Blue Square Bet Premier since losing to Bath in early October.

"We knew it was going to be tough, it was windy and raining and I thought we bossed it for the first 20 minutes and then all of a sudden their chap scored and we seemed to lose it.

"We came out second half and I thought we did very well until their chap scored a fantastic goal.

"We dominated the last 20 minutes and got a goal back and I thought we were unfortunate not to score a second."
