KIDDERMINSTER'S Naomi Folkard led the way for Team GB in the archery ranking round today.
After today's action the recurve archer is ranked 42nd, with Alison Williamson 47th and Amy Oliver 57th.
That left Team GB ranked 11th out of 12 teams. They now take on Russia in the quarter-finals at Lords (9.50am start) on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Amy Smith will begin her quest for Olympic glory tomorrow in the heats of the 4x100m freestyle relay (12.11pm).
Rachel Bragg and the ladies Volleyball team start the Games against the physically imposing Russians at Earls Court (2.45pm).
