OLYMPIC UPDATE: Folkard loses to Mexican
ARCHER Naomi Folkard's dream of progressing in the ladies recurve came to an end when she lost to Mexican Mariana Avitia in the last 16 this morning.
The Kidderminster-based archer lost 6-2 to the Mexican as her involvement in the London Olympics came to a disappointing end.
She had beaten in Russia's Kristina Timofeeva in the last 32 this morning but was unable to progress into the last eight.
