HARRIERS' under-18s team booked their place in the FA Youth Cup Second Round for the first time in the club's history after beating Stratford 3-1 at the DCS Stadium on Wednesday night.
The visitors made a strong start and Jordan Harrison fired them ahead after good work by Connor Perry-Holmes in the 28th minute.
Stratford hit back when Charlie Faulkner bagged a 55th minute leveller.
But the inclusion of fleet-footed substitute Michael Wright handed Kidderminster the impetus and Callum Parker rifled the visitors into the lead.
Wright then capped a fine cameo display and sealed a tie at Burton Albion on November 22 with the third and final strike.
Academy manager Steve Guinan said: "Stratford have a great set-up and have attracted a lot of ex-academy players from professional clubs, so we knew we were in for a hard game.
"We also knocked them out last year but we knew we had to start well.
"We started solidly and well-worked move was finished off by Jordan Harrison.
"Stratford started really well and scored but we brought on Mike Wright, who is one of the quickest players I have ever seen, and told him to really go for it.
"Callum Parker scored and then Mike capped a great performance with a goal."
Harriers started their cup run by defeating Tipton Town in the First Qualifying Round and then hammered Solihull and Coleshill 6-1.
Victory at the Pirelli Stadium would also see Harriers' young guns potentially play academy sides from Premier League clubs.
