The Kidderminster Harriers Football Academy Manager, Jerry Gill, boasts experience from a playing career spanning almost 25 years across all levels of English football from the Premier League to non-league.

Gill is widely regarded as a legendary figure in the Midlands’ football scene for his five-year spell with Birmingham City; so too at Cheltenham Town for whom he turned out more than 200 times.

He top-and-tailed his lengthy career with spells in non-league, first rising from Trowbridge Town in the late 80s before launching his professional years, culminating with a stint at Forest Green Rovers.

His coaching credentials already include a spell as both Assistant boss at Solihull Moors and Rovers, Manager at Weymouth and as U18s coach at Bristol Rovers. In 2010 he held post as Academy coach at Birmingham City.

Appointed at Aggborough in 2011, Gill is Manager of the new Football Academy – formed as a partnership between Harriers and Stourbridge College and has already made an impact, his sides performing well across a total of three divisions and a handful of cup competitions.
