It is over! Well, Harriers avoid the worst case scenario of an embarrassing defeat thanks to the impact of Amari Morgan-Smith. The striker genuinely looked determined to take the game by the scruff of the neck.

A draw takes some pressure of Andy Thorn, who received a fair bit of abuse from the home support. It was his decision to throw on AMS so a good decision.

Braintree have a chance late on as James Mulley leads a counter and Dan Sparks fires over the bar.

It is all Harriers now. They scent a win and what a difference to the mood if that happens.

44- Harriers going for it. Amari Morgan Smith delivers a cross and as keeper Hamman comes out inexplicably Gowling loops a header goalwards only to see it crash off the bar!

The impact of AMS may well not just save his game but could it save Harriers' season? If they can bag a winner today then there low confidence will certainly be improved.

AMS pounces on a blocked clearance and smashes a first time low effort into the back of the net.

Goal! AMS! 2-2!

Ryan Rowe makes his first appearance since returning from Stourbridge when he replaces Cieslewicz.

AMS  collects a free-kick, makes some space and slots a right footed shot into the back of the net. Is the fight back on?

Goal! Amari Morgan-Smith! Harriers 1, Braintree 2

Second change for Harriers as Aloi is replaced by Jack Byrne.

71- Chance! Danny Jackman crosses from the right and O'Keefe flashes a header wide.

Dan Holman makes an immediate impact as he applies a lovely first time finish to Mensar's pull back to score at near post. Expect a huge roar of disapproval by home fans at the end.

Goal! Holman! Harriers trailing 2-0

Substitution for Braintree as Substitute Dan Holman replaces Marks.

When Braintree scored a Harriers flashed up a board demanding someone at Harriers be sacked.

Andy Thorn makes his first change as Amari Morgan-Smith replaces Freddie Ladapo.

Harriers fans are not happy and the chants of Steve Burr's name is now even louder.

55- Kyle Storer sees a free-kick deflect off the ball and fly over the bade. No corner is given when it should have been.

Oh dear! Vaughan flaps at a corner from Mensar and Matt Paine hammers home the ball into back of the net.

Goal! Paine! Harriers losing 1-0.

48- A section of Harriers fans start singing 'there's only one Steve Burr', that won't go down well with Harriers hierarchy who sacked him.

Cieslewicz is fouled on the edge of the box but Demetriou's free-kick flies wide.

45+1 Harriers come slightly alive just before the break. Danny Jackman makes a good run into the box and flashes a good cross in the box, which crashes behind off a defender. But referee blows for half-time.

42- Santiago Aloi is looking quite good. He turns on left side of thr box and flashes a shot across the face of goal.

40- Mensar is a tricky customer and he forces Storer into conceded a corner.

Chance! Davis's corner flicks off a Harriers player at the near post and Dean Wells heads goalwards but Josh O'Keefe clears off the line.

39- Free-kick to Harriers as Jackman is fouled by James Mulley.

Jackman's free-kick is a bit pacey and is headed well wide by Storer. Not really a chance.

37- Josh Gowling is a class act and he strides put of defence to win the ball back.

36- Home fans are getting frustrated as Braintree push forward. The away side are direct and using a long ball to good effect.

31- Harriers have been devoid of width on the left but Mickey Demetriou races Ito a good position and shanks a cross high and wide. Home side have seen a lot of the ball but have created very little.

28- Harriers attack but Aloi shoots a speculative effort over.

26- Whoops! Sean Marks steals in and fires a shot which Gowling clears.

Nathan Vaughan keeps the scores level from the corner, saving A Braintree players's volley.

24- Braintree are having a small spell in Harriers' half and they force a corner.

Nathan Vaughan does well to punch Mensar's corner away and Alan Massey thumps a hopeful effort over the bar!

22- Harriers win their first corner when Aloi's shot deflects behind.

Storer's delivery is very good and Josh O'Keefe flashes a header wide.

14- A good move does not come to fruition. Danny Jackman slides in a lovely pass on the right but Cieslewicz checks his run instead of keeping going.

13- Harriers are on top at the moment with plenty of the ball but they have yet to really rest Braintree keeper Nick Hamman. At the other end, Bernard Mensar's pace is posing a minor threat.

12- Anthony Malbon goes down a bit too easily under pressure from Dean Wells in defence, there is no penalty.

8- Harriers have a slice of luck when Ladapo fouls a Braintree player but Harriees are awarded a free-kick.

Storer's free-kick is won by Ladapo but Braintree eventually clear it.

7- Harriers are seeing more of the all but Sean Marks collects Nernard Mensar's header and fies a shot which keeper Nathan Vaughan collects comfortably.

Braintree may well flag as the game goes on as they have not played in the league since January 11, with the terrible weather playing havoc.
