WYRE Forest Phoenix U14s made cup progress by edging out Pershore Town with an extra-time goal.
Phoenix started the game well and controlled possession but, despite several chances, they were unable to break Pershore down.
Jess Jenkins’ rifled a shot towards the goal, only for the Pershore goalkeeper to produce a superb fingertip save.
In the second half, Pershore continued to frustrate the girls by defending resolutely, despite Phoenix’s creative play.

Fleur Connolly had levelled the scores in the first half, only for Walsall to edge ahead again just at the break.
Connolly made it 2-2 when she scored after Ellie Jones was brought down.
Walsall earned the points late on when one of their players scored on the rebound.
