BEWDLEY Town have a new hotshot in the midst after recent signing Lyall Hickman hammered home a hat-trick in their 4-1 midweek West Midlands League win at Dudley Town.
Hickman has been recruited by Bewdley from local Kidderminster Sunday football on the recommendation of strike partner Lewis Pountney.
Bewdley spokesman Steve Godfrey confirmed: "The pair play together and are a perfect foil up front. They compliment each other really well.
"Lewis set up two of Lyall's goals against Dudley Town and it was Lyall who supplied Lewis for the other goal."
Bewdley's credentials will be tested this Saturday when they travel to top of the table Shrewsbury side Haughmond.
Godfrey added: "We've still got all the top sides to play so it will be interesting to see where we finish up."
