A MAN from Bewdley suffered serious head and neck injuries following an incident in Bridgnorth over the weekend.
Police are now appealing for witnesses after the 25-year-old man suffered serious injuries following the incident at the Crown Hotel, in High Street, between midnight and 1am on Sunday, June 28.
The man was hit on the head by a bottle, while on the dance floor. The impact of the bottle knocked the victim to the ground, where he lost consciousness.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics and later in hospital. He received a large laceration to the back of his head, down to his neck.
It is not known who threw the bottle, as the incident happened on a crowded dance floor.
Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident number 282 of June 28.
