BEWDLEY CIVIC SOCIETY: The last lecture of the 2015/16 season was a fascinating insight into the many varied skills that went into the restoration of Birmingham’s back to back houses. Over 90 people enjoyed listening to Derek Clarke who was the conservation architect in charge.
The AGM will be held on Wednesday April 20, when the society will be electing a new president. This will be followed by a film of Victorian Kidderminster, by our late President Kenneth Hobson, introduced by local historian and Carpet Museum guru Melvyn Thompson.
The bar will be open after the meeting when canapés will be served.
