On September 17 the speaker was Kidderminster Rotarian Peter Handley. Peter, a former King Charles student was a lecturer at Walsall University. He was seconded to a university in America teaching American law to post graduate students.
On September 18 a business enterprise event was organised at the Ramada Hotel to coincide with a visit by Lord Sebastian Coe and David Moorcroft OBE.
The club decided to use the opportunity to join many commercial organisations in taking a stand to promote the work of Rotary locally, nationally and internationally with the possibility of generating interest from potential new members.
The event also helped support the Millbrook Suite appeal and Bewdley Rotary made a significant donation to this worthy cause.
On September 24 the speaker was Sarah Humphries. She spoke at length about the work done by a largely unknown section of our community, Young Carers.
