Kim Hurst, from The Cottage Herbery, gave a talk on ‘Tasty Buds, Luscious Leaves and Succulent Shoots’ at the March meeting.
Kim used shots of the various plants and herbs, explaining the culinary use and value of each plant. and members learnt a lot from an interesting talk.
Monies were collected for the July outing to Hampton Court Gardens, with the coach seats nearly all taken. There will also be two evening outings to Meadow Farm Garden and Nursery and to Preen Manor, Church Preen.
On April 28 – by which time surely the weather will be back to normal – Rob Cole will be speaking on ‘The Birth of a Dream – the story of Meadow Farm Nursery’.
