Nearly 100 people of all ages enjoyed the Snowdrop Walks at Mawley Hall, Cleobury Mortimer (by kind permission of Mr and Mrs. Rupert Galliers Pratt).

Visitors had the choice of two routes to see the snowdrops, with the majority going on the longest walk along the bank of the river Rea following a path within the private grounds of Mawley Hall. This path, in the sheltered and peaceful valley, did not reveal many snowdrops until one came upon the Lower Forge where there was an abundance of snowdrops carpeting the banks of the river and the woods. The return route was via the shorter route which eventually led across the gardens in front of the hall and to the coach house, with log fire burning, where hot soup, drinks and light refreshments were served.

The event raised almost £400 for the Friends group.
